    Purple Wraath Wow. I've always been skeptical around the pre-workout/energy section of supplementation, but Controlled Labs has proved me wrong.

    Purple Wraath is a great-tasting endurance formula that got me pumped as hell for the gym. I drank it 15-20 minutes and throughout my workout and felt the Beta-Alanine hit almost instantaneously. I was focused, I was alert, and I also felt somewhat of a pump, possibly a placebo effect. I hit the weights HARD, and didn't feel even a shred of soreness or DOMs later on that day or the next morning.

    In terms of cardio, PW excelled as well. Again, I was focused and energized, to the point where your muscles go numb and you are able to push yourself that much further. Often times I discourage myself out of cardio and think I can't finish, but PW made me finish well under normal times and feeling much less fatigued. This may be my new pre-game drink as well.

    All in all, one of the best supplements I have tried. PW takes the cake.

    Centrum Silver Yet again I find myself reviewing something straight from the Wal-Mart shelf. And again, for the basic multivitamin market, many people recommend the overpriced and bloated products that are a good $10-20 more than this.

    Centrum got this right. I first started taking this product during my school year, and found everything from focus to energy being heightened. The purpose of a multi is to fill in any holes your diet leaves in the nutrients a body needs to function 100%, and the profile of this product is superb. I felt less fatigued and my injured knee provided less joint pain than normal. I also found my immune system heightened to insane levels, I normally get ill twice or so during the winter months and I didn't fall ill once. The taste still has a bit of a chemical taste to it, but I've had far, far worse in the multi department. Overall, a good product.

    100% Premium Whey Protein I will start this review saying I didn't expect much. Many, many naysayers all claim this is the basic general store brand of low quality protein. It is cheap, don't get me wrong.

    But it works. A friend and I both went through a bottle and compared results/success. Both of our maxes (measured bench+squat) went up 15%+. The nutrition profile looks pretty simple and almost a little high on carbs/fats but in the end this formula works.

    The mix was a little less then to be desired but with a good shaker, blender bottle, or mixer, this is no problem. The taste is basic, but I've had far, far worse.

    As far as side effects, at the very beginning only experienced a bit of frequent bathroom usage, probably due to not tapering up.
