Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip

PowerBar products aren't exactly the ideal protein bar, but if you actually play sports or do cardio, then you may find them to be worthy of your time. While there is just 10 grams of protein in this 240-calorie bar, that's not really the focus here; what you do get with the Harvest bars is a lot of complex carbohydrates. The bars also have a fair amount of vitamins and minerals but nothing that would make them able to replace a multivitamin or anything. The Harvest bars can be helpful for keeping you satisfied through a long workout or game, as they have 5 grams of fiber each, and the first ingredient is whole oats. The bars do have 18 grams of sugar, but most of it is natural rather than just HFCS. The taste on this bar is pretty good; it's not really a candy bar but not a granola bar either, as the chocolate chips and toffee give it a bit of sweetness you wouldn't expect from looking at it. Of course, it is not delicious by any stretch of the imagination, but it does pass on taste and it does barely pass on nutrition facts. Given that these sell for a buck, it's worth it.

The powerbar harvest bar is a whole grain carb bar, that gives you energy and some daily fiber and whole grain supplements. It is just like a basic energy bar, with good amount of calories, carbs, etc. It also has like 5 g of fiber per bar, so it gives you a pretty good portion of your daily amount of fiber. I found some of these at walmart at walmart the other day, and i am not going to lie, they are somewhat pricey. I think they amounted to like a dollar each, so it is not a cheap bar to buy. but if you are missing some fiber and whole grain in your diet, this may be helpful.

This one is i think better for just your general health than for quick energy. It is all whole grain stuff, with almost everything being all grain stuff. There are about 5 grams of fiber as well, so that is good. It gives you a serving of whole grains, which is pretty good considering its only 250 calories, with about 42 grams of carbs. I am not sure why, but there are a lot of sugars, 22 grams. That is a bit too much for me. but otherwise, the bar also has 20+ vitamins and minerals that may act as supplements for you. It did not provide as much energy as other bars, but it definitely has lots of good stuff in it.
