Cinnamon Crunch

Another new style of bar for Promax, these actually reminded me of the Quaker breakfast squares due to the size, shape and flavor. These are a better alternative given the lack of artificial sweeteners and higher protein content, 13 grams. However, there isn't that much overly impressive about the Cinnamon Crunch Promax bars except for the taste. The cinnamon flavor is nice and sweet, reminiscent of a cinnamon bun although obviously not quite as tasty. These contain no sugar alcohols but do contain 10 grams of sugar out of a total of 17 grams of carbohydrates. No fiber and just 3 grams of fat per bar, so these aren't the most filling bars of all time (but what 140 calorie bar would be?). Not much in the way of vitamins and minerals, and if you're involved in any sort of exercise regimen you'll probably want to grab two of these at once to satisfy any cravings. I suppose these would be helpful for a diet, thanks to the chewy texture and great flavor at a low calorie level. However, they won't keep you full for long so I wouldn't expect any miracles. Not the best protein bar, but a step up from a granola bar or something like that.
