Chocolate Shake

As is usually the case with Optimum Nutrition products Hydro Builder received a lot of hate on Bodybuilding.com, possibly because it followed Solution 5's attempt to challenge Syntha-6 and UP 2.0 in the ultra low-carb meal-replacement category. Hydro Builder is a bit different, with lower fat content and no MCTs or CLA. However, it is higher in protein, with 30 g per 180-calorie scoop. It has 8 g of carbohydrates and 2 g of fiber, along with BCAAs, betaine, digestive enzymes and creatine. The main gripe on BB.com is that the 5 g of creatine is too much for one supplement, but heavy supplement users are likely using that much or more daily anyway. The mixability is excellent, thick and rich thanks to the casein, and the chocolate taste is awesome.
