Elite XT Extended Release protein is designed to be the ultimate muscle fuel and workout recovery formula. Dymatize determined that no single existing natural protein source was ideal for achieving extended release anabolic effects. The optimal source was found to be a fusion of several different protein sources, including the addition of free form branch chain amino acids and Milk derived proteins.

Elite XT is further enhanced by the addition of Nutrateric®, a revolutionary coating system. This delayed release technology allows the specific material it coats to release at a particular pH range. In fact, with this coating process, the resulting digestion can take more than twice as long as other forms of non-coated protein, further enhancing the extended release capacity of Dymatize Elite XT.

Fudge Brownie

When I heard that the Elite 12-Hour was being discontinued, I was not pleased, at all. Thankfully, the reformulation is pretty much exactly the same as the original. I heard the reformulation was to remove soy, but Elite XT does contain soy protein, along with a blend of whey, egg, casein and milk with added BCAAs. The nutritional profile of the Elite XT is the same as the old 12-Hour, with 129 calories per serving, 2 grams of fat, 6 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber and 21 gram of protein. Not the greatest profile ever, but it works. The flavoring is great, although it's highly subjective, especially with the Blueberry Muffin flavor. The fudge brownie is deep, but it may have to grow on you a bit. Mixability seems worse than the Elite 12-Hour, one of the few differences.

Strength		Used Dymatize Elite XT and felt that it was the key supplement in producing a lot of my growth and strength a couple of years ago.
Taste		But the price is right, the flavor is good, and I'll continue using this in the future until I can afford higher quality or find something better in this price range.

Taste		Fudge brownie tastes EXACTLY like brownie batter in water and can only imagine how good it will taste in milk.
Mixes well		Well, if your mixing it with anything other than a spoon, it shouldn't clump.
Value for money		I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cheaper, effective protein who doesn't have a problem with them using soy protein isolate in their mix.

Fat loss		I was able to lose about 7% body fat using this as my post-workout shake, along with a regular training regimen and controlled diet.
Taste		As commented by some others, Dymatize tried to improve the taste about a year ago and it was a big step in the wrong direction.
Taste		I'd definitely recommend it in its current form for anyone needing a protein powder that tastes decent and doesn't have certain supplements added in such as creatine, which I prefer to use separately during bulking phases.

Fat loss		To lose weight while retaining muscle I am going to use this protein to reduce my hunger.

Strength		I've literally spent thousands of dollars and proteins every brand, kind/flavor and this is bar none the best one Ive ever had besides isopure starberry wicth is literally twice the price for half the product.mixability is great and for a meal replacement or breakfast mix it with your oatmeal And you have a great tasting low cal,high protein meal quick and its ez..If you haven't tried it I'd suggest it!
