NOW® Carbo Gain is a 100% pure complex carbohydrate supplement derived from maltodextrin, an easily digestible blend of complex carbohydrates from corn starch. Maltodextrin contains "glucose polymers", linked sugar compounds that are easier for the body to assimilate and use. Mixes well		My favorite post-workout carbohydrate suppliment, when mixed with whey protein powder.


Texture		although it is sweet, like sugar) that gives a nice thick sweet stickiness to whatever shake you add it too.

Taste		Aside from the mix-ability, it has no taste and helps fill my carb void.


Pump		The pump is definitely there, and I'm putting on mass.

Vascularity		My muscles feel heavy (in a good way) and rock solid, and veins appear even though I'm not really veiny.
Value for money		The price was very reasonable, and the tub is gonna last months.


Taste		I'd say it actually makes my shakes taste even better (slightly sweeter when mixed with most chocolate based proteins I've used).

Physical energy		I use this pre- and intra-workout mixed with essential amino energy.

Recovery ability		NOW carbo gain cost less than all waxy maize products I have tried (Flud, Glyco Maize, and John Stott's Waxy Maize) and gave me better results in recovering from weight lifting, swimming, and biking.
Taste		It blends well with dextrose because it cuts down on the sweet taste associated with dextrose.

Taste		For best results it blends well with a dextrose and protein blend in a pre or post workout shake to cut down on sweet taste and still keep an intentional ratio of protein to carbs.
