Chocolate

I'm a huge fan of graham crackers, so when I saw that these had actual graham cracker in them I had to pick a few up. I imagined that the chocolate flavor would make this taste a bit like a S'more, but that wasn't the case. Apparently both flavors of the Muscle Sandwich have a peanut butter taste, so I was glad I picked chocolate. Although this wasn't quite a Reese's Cup, I thought the chocolate-peanut butter combination was above average as far as protein bars go. The profile, however, leaves much to be desired. Each 290-calorie bar provides just 13 grams of protein, with 25 grams of carbohydrates and 5 grams of fat. All of the fat is saturated, and most of the carbohydrates - 15 grams - come from sugar. Each bar has just 2 grams of fiber and few vitamins and minerals. The protein does come from WPI, which is nice, but the profile doesn't offer many other exciting attributes. This bar is more filling than some other brands, but nothing else outrageously awesome to report.
