Calcium is important for your bones as you age, especially for those of us that continue to work out. Trying to slow the effects of time and osteo I do try to work out often but after routine blood work I found I also lacked in the trace mineral boron. This is just as vital for strong bone and joint as calcium. I switched from the generic all women supplement to individual supplements instead. Nutri-Herb offered Boron capsules that seemed to do the trick. Added benefit no need to also take a calcium supplement since this addressed this issued as well. Beware though if you are pre-men you should seek the advise of a doctor as Boron supplements raise estrogen levels in the blood.
