Trutein I recently bought a five pound tub of Trutein Vanilla Protein Powder. I bought it because it had very high ratings for taste on bodybuilding.com and heard in person that their taste is delicious. The amount of protein per scoop is very good ( 25 grams for a level scoop ). It has a good amino acid profile which is very good for recovery purposes. When i first tried it, i wasnt really pleased. The taste was not as good as i wouldve liked. I personally didnt enjoy the vanilla flavor at all. It tasted more like chalk than vanilla. I have tried Optimum Nutrition and MTS Whey which are much better in my opinion. I bought it for 57 dollars, which is the average going rate for 5 lbs of protein. You get 67 servings per tub which is good. I can still chug it and drink it but it isnt pleasant. If you can deal with the taste, it might be good for you

100% Whey Protein Gold Standard I won a free tub of Optimum Nutrition Whey during one of substance reviews giveaways. It was my 3rd protein powder, after Mts Whey and Body Fortress. When I first opened the tub, i thought the smell was disgusting and had a very big doubt that I was going to enjoy the flavor. I put a scoop into my shaker with some milk and to my surprise it mixes great! No clumps or anything. Also to my suprise it tasted pretty decent. I was able to drink it without feeling i had to gag. It has a very good ingredient/amino acid profile and defiantly aids in recovery and overall meeting daily protein requirements. It has approximately 24g of protein per rounded scoop and has 73 servings in a 5lb tub. It is kinda costly pricing around 55$ on bodybuilding.com for a 5lb tub. I will defiantly buy another tub of this brand as i am a couple days away from finishing the one I have. This is a great protein powder and defiantly worth buying.

Machine Whey MTS Whey was my second protein powder. My first being Body Fotress's Whey Isolate. I chose to buy MTS whey because it is GMP/NSF certified which basically means you are getting what they say you're getting. Many companies put fillers inside their protein and claim they dont. MTS whey is GMP/NSF certified meaning it is made sanitarily, and everything on the label per serving is what you're getting. It is also not a proprietary blend. this is when they label the specific amount of each ingredient. This prevents you from not knowing whats inside the protein you're eating. The cost of the protein is fair based upon the quality of the protein and compared to other competitors. 5 lbs would cost you around 45 dollars where you other companies protein can cost upwards of 60-70 dollars per 5lbs. For each serving,( 34 g ), you get 25g protein, and have about 67 servings. I bought the vanilla flavor and I would rate it 9/10. No clumps with 10oz of milk in a shaker
